THE WITBUIK STRAIN GOES ON !!!!

After he moved from his father place to his new place, Hugo Batenburg has begun from zero with a round of late bred. Results were quickly astonishing : Have a look on the following link: http://www.pipay.be/artikelsnew/johank/baetenburg/batenburg.htm

Strategy has now changed and Hugo has stopped race middle distance to concentrate on long distances.
With Witbuik bloodlines, Miss Bergerac, St Vincent Doffer, Guus, Hightech etc... More recently with a few Cess Van der poele pigeons and a few from Moulin Rouge (Hugo give us the honour try them (thanks Hugo!!! Cf Slava)) 2004 is a new beguining again. In 2006 the Batenburg team is made of a few all birds but mostly with 2 years old and yearlings. Considering the 2006 results, we are sure that Batenburg pigeons will be the jewel of long distance in Nederland.

BATENBURG RESULTS OF THE LAST YEARS

LA LIGNEE DU LEGENDAIRE WITBUIK CONTINUE SES EXPLOITS

Depuis son déménagement à klaaswaal, Hugo Batenburg a redemarré avec une poignée de tardifs. En un temps record les résultats ont été surprenants, et ont propulsé son nom en tête des résultats. Nom déjà bien connu tant les victoires obtenues avec la lignée du terrible Witbuik sont nombreuses.

Malgré de spectaculaires résultats en 1/2 fond avec la lignée de son beau père, Le célèbre Piet Van de Merwe, Hugo a choisi il y a 2 ans de reconstituer une équipe exclusivement réservée pour le grand fond. Ainsi, l'Equipe actuelle est composée de la lignée du Witbuik, Miss Bergerac, St Vincent Doffer, auxquels sont venus s'ajouter les Cees Van Der Poele plus récemment et quelques pigeons du Moulin Rouge qu' Hugo nous fait l'honneur d' essayer... La plupart des pigeons ont 2 ans et moins.
Les excellents résultats de 2006 nous permettent de penser que cette colonie sera sans conteste le joyau du grand fond hollandais pour de longues années... On en reparlera...
